Order Your Repeat Prescription Online

You can now order repeat prescriptions from the Patient Services website.  

Note that Patient Services website also offers appointment booking online, and appointments for Modyrvale will go live on 1st March 2019.  If you would like to be able to access this service please register for online services using the form below.  NOTE This appointment service has been suspended during the Covid-19 pandemic, however you are still able to register for repeat prescriptions.

If you haven't already registered you will need to do so now by completing the Vision Online registration form and handing in to reception with ID documentation.

Only medication which is already on repeat can be requested in this manner.  Please contact the surgery in the normal way if you need to order medication which is not on your repeat order form.

If your Doctor agrees, you may obtain repeat prescriptions for regular medication. Please do not phone before 12.00noon as the lines are very busy with more urgent home visits etc at that time. Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be checked and signed by the doctor.

The Practice has a computer that holds all prescription information. This usually types out the correct chemical name of a drug. As drugs are commonly known by a different company name, the computer name may not be the one with which you are familiar, although the drug is exactly the same. If you are in any doubt, please phone for advice. Please give the name, strength and dose of your medication when you call.

Patients on regular medication will be given a computer print-out showing their medication.  In case of emergencies it is a good idea to take this on holiday with you.

If you provide a stamped addressed envelope, we will post your prescription to you.

Many chemists will collect prescriptions from the surgery for you. You should advise the receptionist when ordering your prescription, which pharmacy you wish it to be sent to, but please allow extra time to ensure you do not run out of medication.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.

Please note that the current repeat prescription ordering system is being phased out and will be replaced by "Vision online" which will allow you to request repeat prescriptions as well as enable online appointment bookings. When the new system goes live (anticipated to be by end of November 2017), you will lose the ability to request prescriptions online unless you have registered for the new service.

Please download a "Vision online" registration form from our website, or ask for a form at reception. You will need to provide proof of identify when returning the form to the Surgery. Please do this as soon as possible to ensure that you can continue to order prescriptions online.
