Booking an appointment

The practice operates an “on the day” appointment system, patients will therefore be allocated an appointment on the day of telephoning.

Phone us on 01698 265566, Monday to Friday from 8.30am

When you get in touch we will ask you what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Home visits

If you feel you require a home visit please telephone before 11.15am. The doctor will determine if a house visit is necessary and may call you back to discuss the most appropriate place for you to be seen.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Medical Centre.

Genuine emergencies will be dealt with at any time. Please make it clear to the receptionist if you feel your call is an emergency.

Extended hours

Pre-bookable appointments are available with a GP or a nurse on Monday and Thursday mornings when the surgery is open from 7am.  Appointments with the GP run from 7:10am to 8:30am, and with the nurse from 7.15am to 8.30am.

These appointments are for patients who work and are unable to attend surgery during normal surgery opening hours.

Video consultations

You may be offered an online video consultation.

There is no need to create an account and no information that you enter online is stored, however you do need to have made an appointment for a video consultation with the surgery in advance.

You can attend your appointment via one of these:

  • Google Chrome web browser on a desktop or laptop, or on an Android tablet or smartphone.
  • Safari web browser on an Apple iMac, MacBook, iPad, or iPhone.
