FORTHCOMING HOLIDAYS

Public Holidays:

The Surgery will be closed on the following dates:

Christmas - Tuesday 25th, and Wednesday 26th December 2018

New Year - Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd January 2019

We will re-open as normal on the Thursday morning following both closures

Please make sure you have sufficient medication to see you through holiday weekends.

EXTENDED HOURS APPOINTMENTS

Pre-bookable appointments will be available with a GP or a nurse on Monday and Thursday mornings from 07:10 till 08:30 am.

These appointments are for patients who work and are unable to attend surgery during normal surgery opening hours.

NO APPOINTMENTS!

A major part of this problem is the number of wasted appointments.

DESPITE OUR 'SAME DAY' APPOINTMENT SYSTEM

Keeping treatment room and practice nurse appointments is just as important as with your GP.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, it is essential to cancel it as soon as possible, as we may be able to offer it to another patient.

Our practice is happy to accept patients wishing to register with the practice providing they are eligible and are living within our practice area. Anyone can do so by obtaining a Patient Registration Form and New Patient Questionnaire from reception. At this point our staff will be happy to arrange an initial consultation with our Practice Nurse.

When registering, you will be asked to complete a registration form. In addition, all patients will be asked to complete a new patient questionnaire, allowing us to provide medical care in the interim period, while your medical records are transferred from your old practice to this one. If you move out of the practice area, you will need to register with a new practice as soon as you move. We can provide information about how to find a new practice.
